Our History
Active, reserve, retired and veteran Marines continue the faithful tradition of looking out for the Marines to their left and right. Providing mentorship, career counseling, Veteran Service Officer VA support, assisting with transitions, and providing opportunities for family.
We are Detachment 518 of the Marine Corps League.
Our Mission
The mission of the Marine Corps League is to promote the interest and to preserve traditions of the United States Marine Corps; strengthen the fraternity of Marines and their families; serve Marines and FMF Navy Personnel who wear or who have worn the Eagle, Globe and Anchor; and foster the ideals of Americanism and patriotic volunteerism.
Our History
The Marine Corps League was founded in 1923 by World War I Veteran of Belleau Wood, Commandant of the Marine Corps, then Major General John A. Lejeune. On August 4, 1937, the U.S. Congress Congressionally Chartered the organization as a Veteran Service Organization. It maintains a 501c4 non-profit status with the Internal Revenue Service with special tax exemption.

Dates: Monday August 12, 2024 to Friday, August 16, 2024
You may book two (2) rooms with your name. 30 days prior to the convention, you must provide the hotel with the second name. CUTOFF FOR RESERVATIONS IS JULY 8, 2024. Reservations after that will be at the prevailing rate on space available.
Rates are $159 single (one person in room) and $169 double (two people in room). Includes breakfast Monday through Saturday for one (1) and are inclusive of taxes, resort fee, and parking.

Our detachment 518 is a member of the Southeast Division, dubbed "The Magnificent Seven" by PNC Helen Hicks due to the success of our recent commemorative coin drive.
